Calgary’s housing market soars in April (Calgary Herald)
It was a very busy April for Calgary's housing market. According to the Calgary Real Estate Board, overall residential MLS sales in the city of 2,200 for the month were up 26.07 per cent from April 2011 and the average sale price of $429,388 increased by 1.95 per cent from last year.
